Shriya Saran is one of the leading actors of the Indian film industry today. She has appeared in movies in six languages, notably "Sivaji: The Boss" (Tamil, Hindi & Telugu, 2007 and it’s 3D release, 2012), "Santhosham" (Telugu, 2002), "Awarapan" (Hindi, 2007), "The Other End of the Line" (English, 2008), "Cooking With Stella" (English, 2009), "Pokkiri Raja" (Malayalam, 2010), "Chandra" (Kannada, 2013) and "Midnight's Children" (English, 2013). Shriya has been nominated for and received numerous awards, including the Stardust Exciting New Face Award in 2009, and the ITFA Best Actress Award in 2011.

She is a firm believer in giving back to society, and opened Shree Spa in Mumbai, which provides employment to visually challenged individuals. She has also been involved in fundraisers for various causes, such as Save A Child's Heart (SACH), AIDS prevention programs, the Blue Cross of India and the Joy of Giving Week. She is currently working on the films "Pavitra" (Telugu) and" Valmiki ki Bandook" (Hindi).
