Anything about the legendary writer is eminently readable and for his admirers, who have an insatiable appetite also for literature on him, this book is a treat. Through Amudhavan’s pen, Sujatha’s persona unfolds in layers. The author was among the lucky few to have had an enduring friendship with Sujatha, although it is obvious that the former worshipped him. There is a personal touch without but it is never obtrusive. The cover portrait by Ma.Se. is arresting.
