Sambit Bal is the editor-in-chief of ESPNcricinfo, the world's most widely read cricket website. After a varied career in mainstream journalism that included reporting, writing and editing, he joined Wisden in 2001 as Asia editor and was the founder editor of Wisden Asia Cricket and Cricinfo Magazine. Previously, he was the editor of Gentleman, a monthly features magazine. He also edited Sealed With A Six:The Story of the 2011 World Cup (Hachette) and Rahul Dravid : Timeless Steel (Disney).
Sambit Bal will be in conversation with Michael Ferreira and Suresh Menon on The Making of a Champion in Chennai on February 16, 2013 at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall in Lady Andal School.
