Lit for Life is an attempt to make literature enthusiasts delve into myriad forms of writing as we traverse sessions on food writing, travel writing, writing comedy, filmmaking, popular cult writing, literary fiction, dynastic politics and bring together literature as a whole in one place. In order to recognize the literary talent in Indian writing in English, The Hindu Literary Review has instituted The Hindu Literary Prize which will be announced at the end of the Conclave. The Conclave will be held across the cities of Delhi and Chennai in September and October 2011. Participating speakers include Vikram Seth, Indrajit Hazra, Jai Arjun Singh, Jigyasa Giri, Mahesh Dattani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Sanjna Kapoor, Rahul Bhattacharya, Tahmima Anam, Mohammed Hanif among others.
