Salon of photography from October 19

The Photographic Society of Madras will organise ‘ All-India Salon of Photography 2010' at Lalit Kala Akademi here from October 19 to 24.

There are six sections for the entries: Monochrome, Travel, Nature, Power of Women, Motion and Silhouette. There is a special category for mobile phone photographs, ‘ Picture by Mobile.'

The first prize winner will receive a cash award of Rs.10,000, the second prize Rs.7,500 and the third prize Rs.5,000, along with trophies and certificates.
