Bihar: Without toilets in school, students defecate in open

One of the teachers cited lack of space for the absence of toilets in the school.

Months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the call for construction of toilets across the country, students at a school in Bihar complained of lack of sanitation facilities in the institution. Students and teachers of a government school in Bahadupur area of Darbhanga district have to defecate in the open due to lack of toilets. Improper drainage system floods the school during monsoon, disrupting classes.
