Congress demands PM Modi to clarify Lalit Modi issue

Futher Surjewala questioned whether Prime Minister has the courage to ask Swaraj and Raje to resign.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday demanded the government to come clean on the issues related to the Lalit Modi controversy involving External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. He said that BJP's strategy has always been that of helping offenders on humanitarian grounds. Surjewala demanded that the letters written by the then Finance Minister P Chidambaram to UK authorities on Lalit Modi be made public so that truth is exposed.
