Poor quality food served for jawans? BSF's response

Tej Bahadur Yadav, a BSF jawan of 29th battalion, deployed along the Indo-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, alleged that troops are served bad quality food and even have to manage with an empty stomach sometimes through a video posted on his Facebook account on Monday night.

In the video, the jawan claimed that while the government procures essentials for them, the higher-ups and officers sell it off in an illegal manner in the market.

Meanwhile BSF spokesperson released a statement in which they asserted that Tej Bahadur needed regular counselling from initial days of his career. He was a habitual offender of absenteeism without permission, chronic alcoholism and used to misbehave with seniors.
