Waste plants working at a quarter of capacity

Four months after the High Court of Karnataka directed the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to revive all seven compost-based waste processing plants in the city and run them at optimum capacity, the plants are functioning at less than a quarter of their installed capacity. The BBMP is continuing to dump most of the waste in landfills.
