Todor Enev gets top billing for Kolkata leg

KOLKATA, MARCH 3. Todor Enev of Bulgaria received the top billing in the ONGC-sponsored ITF Futures tennis, which will be held here from the weekend at the clay courts of Saturday Club.

Enev, ranked 298, will be followed by Orost Tereshchuk of Ukraine, while third seed Rohan Bopanna (ranking 380) will lead the Indian challenge.

Sunil Kumar Sipaeya, seeded eighth, is the other Indian in the top draw, while Vijay Kannan, Mustafa Ghouse, Vinod Sridhar, Vishal Uppal, Vishal Punna and Ajay Ramaswami are the other Indians figuring in the main draw starting on Monday.

There will be four wild-cards, while qualifiers will fill the remaining four spots in the main draw of 32. The doubles event will have a draw of 16.

The semifinals will be held on March 13, while the finals, generally held on the weekend, has been pushed back by a day to accommodate television coverage as the earlier date clashes with India's first one-dayer against Pakistan.
