TN wins chess title

MYSORE, AUG. 21. Despite its 3-1 loss to Orissa in the fifth and final round, last-year's runner-up, Tamil Nadu clinched the men's team championship with 14 points in the 19th all India postal chess tournament (team event) here on Saturday. Orissa (13.5) and Karnataka (13) were placed second and third.
