Erode: Tamil Nadu girls scored a thumping 25-15, 25-11, 25-22 win over Kerala and entered the final of the 13th Mini National volleyball championship for boys and girls at the Bharathi Vidya Bhavan indoor stadium courts here on Saturday.

In the title clash, the host will take on Andhra Pradesh, which despatched a fighting Karnataka 25-23, 25-23, 25-16. Tamil Nadu, despite half a dozen service errors, managed to wrap up the first set (25-15) mainly due to Kerala's sloppy display and poor co-ordination. In the second set, Tamil Nadu replaced Pandeeswari for Keerthana. Keerthana made merry in the middle and so did Preethi.

The duo dented the rival defence time and again and helped the team take the second set at 25-11. Tamil Nadu closed the set and match at 25-22.

In the first semifinal, if Andhra Pradesh staved off a stiff Karnataka challenge it was largely due to the efforts of its captain Manemma.
