ITF Futures from Monday

CHENNAI, MARCH 17. Davis Cuppers Harsh Mankad and Prakash Amritraj, Sunil Kumar Sipaeya and five players from the top-300 — Aisam Qureshi (Pakistan), Simon Greul, Sebastian Fitz (both Germany), Jamie Delgado and David Sherwood (both Great Britain) — will be participating in the ITF $15,000 Futures (second leg) tennis tournament to be held at the Madras Gymkhana Club (MGC) here from March 21 to 26.

Speaking to newspersons on Thursday, S.B.P. Anand Mohan, tournament director, said Rohan Bopanna has not yet confirmed his entry.

Other prominent players from India include Vishal Uppal and Vijay Kannan. Players from Germany, Czech Republic, USA, New Zealand, Russia, Austria, China, Taipei and Korea are taking part in the tournament.

The qualifying rounds will be on March 19 and 20. The events are men's singles and doubles.
