BPCA emerges champion

BANGALORE, JUNE 1. The Brijesh Patel Cricket Academy (BPCA) emerged champion in the All-India BPCA Pepsi Cup tournament that concluded here on Tuesday.

In the final, BPCA defeated Inborn Cricketers by nine wickets. Inborn Cricketers scored 92 as Moinuddin grabbed three wickets and later BPCA chugged ahead in 12.5 overs.

The scores (all finals):

Seniors: Inborn Cricketers 92 for nine in 18.1 overs (Bharat Khurana 34, Moinuddin three for 13) lost to BPCA 93 for one in 12.5 overs (Sumanth 39 not out, Raghavendra 38 not out).

Under-11: Vijayanand Gardens Cricket Academy 124 in 30 overs (Sandeep 47, Kartik 34) lost to Pepsi 128 for two in 23.2 overs (Naveen 45 not out, Shreyas Gopal 43, Adarsh 29 not out).

Under-13: Mohameddan Sporting 161 in 27.5 overs (Amit Hari 41, Kunal Chakravarthy 32, G. Varun three for 35) bt VPCA Hyderabad 61 for five in 30 overs (Imran Khan 29).

Under-15: BRBCA 165 for nine in 30 overs (Aravind 37, Prithvi 27, Goutham four for 16) lost to VPCA 166 for eight in 26.4 overs (Sandeep Rajan 37, Gaurav Prasad 27, Adarsh three for 22, Aravind three for 27).

Under-17: Pepsi XI 225 for six in 30 overs (Nikhil Kashyap 61, Roshan 56 not out, Prajwal 41, Anil Kumar four for 29) bt Anand Sweets 169 in 26.5 overs (Youthish 88, Amith Varma four for 14).
