Bengaluru FC’s pre-season tour of Spain was off to a stuttering start after it lost 2-1 to Atletico Saguntino on Friday.
After the home side took the lead as early as the seventh minute, BFC restored parity seven minutes into the second half with a strike by playmaker Dimas Delgado. It was the Spaniard’s first game since being taken off in the ISL final in March following an injury.
But Sagutino managed to breakdown the BFC defence and score an 84th-minute winner. BFC next plays UAE Pro League side Shabab Al Ahli Dubai on Monday.
