Commonwealth Games gold medallists Anish Bhanwala and Manu Bhaker displayed their potential yet again to win the junior men’s rapid fire pistol and junior women’s air pistol gold in the 28th Meeting of Shooting Hopes international championship on Thursday.
Needing three points to win the gold in the final series, Anish produced a perfect five to beat qualification topper Matej Rampula of the Czech Republic by three points.
The 16-year-old Manu topped qualification with 574 in air pistol and went on to defeat Camille Jedrzeiewski of France by 4.6 points after the latter was docked two points for not reporting on time for the final.
