`Akram will not be the bowling coach'

NEW DELHI: After the successful experiment in Australia, India would be going to Pakistan with a bowling coach, captain Sourav Ganguly said.

``We will definitely have someone as bowling coach before we go to Pakistan,'' Ganguly told reporters.

When asked whether the coach would be any Pakistani fast bowler, Ganguly said, ``if you are referring to Wasim Akram, it is no. It will be an Indian. Bruce Reid could not go to Pakistan.''

Ganguly said he believes the batsmen hold the key to India's success in the upcoming series. ``We have to bat well and put runs on the board. This will be the key in both the Test and one-day series. We have to play the way we did during the first part of the Australian tour.

``They have a good bowling department. But just being fast will not help them pick wickets. They should have quality,'' Ganguly said.
