Vimal sets new National mark

Vimal Raj of BSNL created a new National record in squat in the men's 60kg category on the opening day of the senior National powerlifting championship at the SNR Sons Kalai Arangam here on Thursday. Vimal's effort of 275kg erased the existing mark of 272.5kg set by P. Anbu of RSPB in August 2005.
