Hockey championships
The ‘B’ Division Super League hockey championship will begin from Aug. 16 at the Gymkhana grounds according to a statement released by the Hyderabad Hockey Association. The junior State knock-out hockey championship for ‘B’ Division teams will start on Aug. 20. Last date for entries is Aug.16. Entries may be sent to the Secretary, HHA, Begumpet Stadium, Secunderabad.
It was also mentioned that Durgaprasad of Youth League hockey club has been selected as one of the probables to attend the coaching camp for the Indian sub-junior team to take part in the Singapore International Hockey Challenge Cup to be held in October.
