VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakhapatnam gained first innings lead over Srikakulam on the rain-affected second and final day of the league match in ACA North Zone under-19 inter-district tournament at Vizianagaram on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam made 236 for six after resuming at 121 for three. The day’s play was completely washed out in the other match between Vizianagaram and East Godavari. Both teams received one point each.
Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam have four points each at the end of second and penultimate round of the league tournament.
The scores: Srikakulam 137 drew with Visakhapatnam 236 for six in 62 overs (Prince Susan 86, Chiranjeevi 52, Shiva Kumar 36).
