Morita in semifinals

KOLKATA: Japan’s Ayumi Morita was the only seeded player who entered the semifinals of the $50,000 ITF women’s Challenger here on Thursday. Other seeded players lost to unseeded opponents in the quarterfinals.

Elora Dabija of Romania, Sophie Ferguson of Australia and qualifier Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia joined second seeded Morita in the semifinals.
