India storms into last eight

India stormed into the quarterfinals of the team event at the World junior squash championship being held at Quito in Ecuador with a 3-0 victory over the Netherlands.

It was Mahesh Mangaonkar, playing for the resting Ramit Tandon, who gave the team the perfect start with a convincing straight-game victory over Tomas de Paauw.

An inspired Aditya Jagtap then worked hard to topple the No. 1 Dutch player Rick Penders, the match going the distance. But more importantly Aditya brought the winning margin for India to ensure a last eight berth.
