Chettinad wins

CHENNAI: Chettinad Vidyashram won the overall title (boys and girls) in the CBSE National chess championship held recently in Nagpur.

The school collected 57 points as against 49 by the second-placed Jawahar Higher Secondary School, Neyveli.

Players from 96 schools in India and abroad had taken part in the championship in four sections — under-14 and under-19 (both boys and girls).
