Udit Raj floats political party

New Delhi Nov. 24. The chairman of the All-India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations, Udit Raj, today launched a political outfit, Justice Party, to ``fight for equal rights for Dalits" and demanded reservations for them in the private sector.

At a Dalit rally here, Mr. Raj said ``socio-religious organisations have certain limitations. Formation of a political party is necessary for reconstruction of the country and integration of the marginalised people into the mainstream.'' The Justice Party would work for ``compulsory and equal education to all and the abolition of the caste system.'' — PTI
