Congress leaders burn Govt. effigy

The Karimnagar City Congress Committee leaders set fire to effigy belonging to the TRS government at Indira chowk in the town in protest against the illegal arrest of TPCC vice- president and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar and Vemulawada Congress leaders in Hyderabad. City Congress Committee president Karra Rajashekhar flayed the State government for arresting the Congress leaders in Hyderabad when they went to ask on Wednesday the government to fulfil the promise made by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to allocate Rs. 100 crore per annum to Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla district.
