THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DEC. 27. Sebastian (21), who was arrested for alleged rape and brutal murder of a seven-year-old girl in the bell tower of St. Thomas Church at Poonthura on Tuesday, had been remanded to 15 days judicial custody.
Sebastian, who was arrested on Wednesday morning, was produced by the Poonthura police before the Judicial First Class Magistrate II late in the night. According to the police, they will be seeking police custody of the accused in the next couple of days for carrying out scientific investigations into the case.
