Sunny weather likely in coastal Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, MARCH 17. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over south Kerala, Rayalaseema, fell at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over south Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka, at one or two places over Andhra Pradesh, rest Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Cuddapah recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius in the region. The minimum temperature rose appreciably at one or two places over Telangana, rose at one or two places over rest Telangana, north interior Karnataka, north coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday Morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over coastal Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Forecast (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over interior Tamil Nadu and mainly sunny weather will prevail over coastal Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No large change.
