Way clear for Telangana, says TRS president

SIDDIPET: Telangana Rashtra Samiti president and Union Minister for Labour and Employment K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday claimed that all obstacles to the formation of a separate

State had been removed with all political parties, including the one that had opposed it so far, agreeing not to obstruct its formation. Addressing a public meeting here, Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao, without naming the party, said its leaders had assured the TRS that they would not oppose statehood for the region even as they remained committed to the principle of larger States. He said the demand for a separate State was not aimed at hurting the interests of anyone but to usher in everlasting peace and prosperity in the backward region.

He also laid the foundation for the grain market yard and youth hostel near Rangadhanpalli.
