Training programme on biotechnology

CHENNAI April 15. Students can now look forward to hands-on training in biotechnology, interact with experts, go on field visits and learn about the emerging trends in bioresources conservation and the use of biotechnological tools.

The M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation is organising a three-week residential vacation-training programme on bioresources and biotechnology. Students who have appeared for the tenth standard examinations can apply. A committee will select 25 eligible students. Students can apply to Course Coordinator, Vacation Training, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, III Cross Road, Taramani, Chennai 600 113, through the school principals by April 25. A school can nominate only one student. Selected students will be informed by May 1 about the details of the programme.
