A 30-year-old IT employee from Sholinghur in Vellore district succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident on Wednesday. R. Saravanan, a resident of East Tambaram, was on his two-wheeler on Camp Road. While attempting to overtake a bus, he lost control and rammed a lorry. He came under the wheels of the lorry. Saravanan was rushed to a private hospital in Sholinganallur, where he succumbed to injuries early on Wednesday. The lorry driver was arrested.
