A teacher of a government middle school in Muthialpet has been arrested by the police for sexually abusing girl students of the school.
The police gave the name of the accused as Mandhayan, 56.
He had allegedly sexually abused a few girls on the pretext of conducting special class in the school.
Complaint filed
Two of the girls narrated their ordeal to their parents who lodged a complaint with the Education department.
Further investigations are on into the incident, the police said.
