Survey of MSMEs

A sample survey of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the district will be conducted between November and January, District Collector Darez Ahamed said in a release. Enumerators appointed by General Manager, District Industries Centre, Thanjavur, will approach the enterprises for data collection. Data pertaining to production capacity, raw material, fuels used, products and services, employment and wages, exports, fixed assets and machinery value, total investment and loans will be collected. The enumeration will cover sick units. The information collected will be kept confidential and will be used for statistical purposes only. The Collector appealed to industrial units to cooperate with the enumerators by providing correct information.
