CHENNAI: The Art of Living founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has urged the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) to negotiate for a peaceful settlement of the ethnic issue in Sri Lanka. During an interactive session with advocates and court officers in the Madras High Court premises on Wednesday, he urged the militants to shed their rigid stand on the issue.

According to him, frustrated youth nurtured suicidal tendencies or indulged in domestic and societal violence.

There existed a victim behind every criminal, he said, adding that proper understanding of criminals' mindset would help bring down incidence of crimes. Asked about the mounting stress among professionals, he said laughter was the best medicine.
