Schools protest move on invigilators

CHENNAI, MARCH 24. The Tamil Nadu Matriculation Schools Association has criticised the Department of Examinations for reportedly appointing persons from outside their schools to supervise the Class X examinations in select schools.

Normally, the head of the school allotted the examination centre acted as the chief superintendent of examinations.

The appointment of superintendents from other schools was against the rule and was not a fair practice, said an Association statement.
