Applications could not be uploaded for the past three days, say candidates

A large number of job aspirants for vacancies in the Railways faced severe hardship because of technical glitches in accessing the online portal of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The RRB called for applications for the post of assistant loco pilot, technicians and other posts in the Level 1 category throughout India through the online application process.

However, the job applicants found it difficult to access the website (http://www.rrbchennai.

gov.in/) to post their applications.

Ahmed, a resident of Broadway, said for the past three days, he was not able to upload the application on the website as it did not move beyond the registration stage.

The one time password was not generated in time, making it impossible to move beyond registration.

He pointed out that March 31 (Saturday) was the last day for filing the application.
