Pensioners’ family security fund increased

The Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, has increased the Tamil Nadu government pensioners’ family security fund from Rs. 35,000 to Rs 50,000.

A government press release issued here on Wednesday said that earlier the pensioners’ families were given Rs 25,000 and it was raised to Rs 35,000 by the Chief Minister.

Now the Chief Minister has further increased the amount to Rs 50,000. — Special Correspondent
