With the installation of a BMI machine with multipara, the public, petitioners, officials and employees, who visit the Collectorate in Tiruchi, can now measure their weight and height and check Blood Pressure within a few minutes.

They need to just stand on the machine for a few seconds to know their Body Mass Index (BMI). They will immediately get advice slip. It will have details such as weight and height and advice slip.

Similarly, they can test their BP level, temperature and pulse rate too. It has been installed at a cost of Rs. 1.90 lakh.

Collector T. Rajamani, who inaugurated the machine on Monday, said that the services would be offered free of cost.
