Malkani flags off Tibetan students' peace march

Pondicherry Dec. 25. Sixty Tibetan students, including 35 girls, under the `Peace March' banner arrived here from Chennai today on a four-day camp to propagate peace. The students were led by the president of the Chennai-based Tibetan Students' Association, Kelsang Tsering.

The march in Pondicherry was flagged off by the Lt. Governor, K.R. Malkani, from the Rajnivas campus.

Mr. Malkani, who cheered the students and the children of the Jawahar Bal Bhavan, said he prayed for world peace and peace for Tibet.

The office bearers of the Rotary club formed part of the team.
