CHENNAI: There was a special screening of the film ‘Pallikoodam’ for Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and his family recently. Director Thankar Bachan, producer Viswas Sundar and the actor Narain playing the lead role were present. “The CM told us that he was coming out of the theatre with a heavy heart. He said he was touched by the way the film was made,” said an elated Thankar Bachan. Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi said that the film brought back memories of her school days.
Thankar Bachan has not only acted and cranked the film, but has also written the story, screenplay, dialogue and directed it. The film has Narain and Sneha in the lead.
