“DMK sensitive to needs of the poor”

The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is sensitive to needs of the poor and public support to DMK is inevitable, Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has said.

He was addressing a meeting at Muthaiyapuram where over 5,000 cadre from various political parties including the main opposition All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam , Marxist Communist Party of India, CPI (M), Communist Party of India (CPI), Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam , Pattali Makkal Katchi , Bharatiya Janata Party , Akhila Indhiya Samaththuva Makkal Katchi and Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam joined hands with DMK on Thursday.

He said that a large number of cadre from other political parties were uniting themselves with DMK. “Such occasions are not a rare phenomenon but it has become an everyday reality increasingly.” While touring most of the time in various districts “I could witness such happenings”. “People have unshakeable faith in the state government led by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi since DMK has a long deserved recognition in the minds of people,” he said.
