In the article, `Is it a case of too much of a good thing?' (Sept. 28), Harish Khare has tried to compare the judges in India and America and how their functioning affects democracy. I, however, cannot agree with his call to the judiciary not to interfere in political disputes and not to rebuke politicians and governments. In an era where politicians use money and muscle power to win elections, the judiciary is the only resort for the common people. People of this country have more trust in the judicial system than in many MPs.
