Hosur man sentenced to life for rape and murder of child

A 30-year-old man was on Tuesday sentenced to life imprisonment for the rape and murder of a three-year-old child in 2014. The accused, Muthu of Sanasanthiram in Hosur, was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the child’s mother. The prosecution proved the crime following which the Fast Track court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment.
