Captain NSR dead

CHENNAI: Captain N.S. Ramachandran, a retired Deputy Managing Director of Indian (formerly Indian Airlines) died here on Thursday after a brief illness. He was 75.

He is survived by his wife and two sons. Capt. NSR, as he is affectionately known, was an ace examiner pilot with over 27,000 flying hours to his credit. He had flown all types of aircraft from the Dakota to Airbus-300.
