Parenting programme

Following the overwhelming response to the parenting programme Eppadithan Valarpatho , Sri Krishna Sweets is organising the programme again for parents of children aged between 7 and 12 on July 15 at Sindhu Sadan Hall, R.S. Puram from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Counsellor Brinda Jayaraman will take part. Interested parents can register at the venue at 10.30 a.m on the day.

Applications invited

Sarojini Damodharan Foundation has invited applications for its ‘Vidyadhan’ scholarship programme. The scholarship is for economically backward students from families with annual income below Rs. 2 lakh. The students should have passed SSLC examination during the last academic year from Tamil Nadu or Puducherry and should have secured over 85 % (75 % for students with disability) or A+ grade in all subjects. Painting exhibition

A five-day painting exhibition featuring the works of artist Shiva Hadimini from Karnataka will be held from July 18 at Kasthuri Sreenivasan Art Gallery on Avinashi Road in the city .The expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. For details, contact M. Kuppuraj, manager, 0422-2574110.
