Last date extendedThe Institute of Distance Education of the University of Madras has extended the last date for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and M.Phil. courses (excluding OUS) up to December 30. The last date for calendar year courses (except MBA) such as MCA, M.Sc.(IT), BLIS, MLIS, M.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology), Diploma and certificate courses has been extended up to January 31, Application forms can be obtained from the IDE or from any Spot Admission Centres/Study Centres by paying Rs. 100.

It will be open to public on January 4 from noon to 7 p.m. and on the other days from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The year 2007 has been declared `Japan-India Friendship year.'
