CHENNAI: After a relative good showing in Tamil films as well as the dubbed version in Telugu, actor Vishal seems to be taking the next logical step: shooting directly in both the languages.
The actor is set start work in the bilingual that will be shot under the title “Sathyam” in Tamil. Nayanthara, back in Tamil films after a sabbatical of sorts, will be the female lead. Vishal is now completing “Malaikottai,” which he stars with Priyamani. The new movie will be produced by his brother Vikram Krishna for his home production.
Vishal had made inroads in Telugu film industry with his dubbed versions of Tamil hits like “Sandakozhi” (“Pandem Kodi”), “Thimiru” (“Pogaru”) and “Thamarabarani” (“Bharani”). Because of his success in Telugu, his brother Vikram Krishna has decided to do the bilingual now. Kannada superstar Upendra playing an important role.
The music will be scored by Harish Jayaraj and directed by Rajasekar.
