CHENNAI: All universities in the State other than Anna University will finish their examinations by April 15 from the coming academic year to provide a uniform system for students, a meeting of Vice-Chancellors decided on Wednesday. At the meeting chaired by Higher Education Minister K. Ponmudy and attended by Higher Education Secretary K. Ganesan, the Vice-Chancellors expressed their views ahead of the demands for grants to be presented in the budget session of the Assembly.
Mr. Ponmudy said that in view of the difficulties encountered by students owing to different schedules, all universities had been instructed to complete their examinations by April 15 and publish the results by May 30.
