CHENNAI: Tamil movie ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ will soon hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh in its Telugu version. Major part of the movie is being dubbed in Telugu, while a few scenes are being remade to attract Telugu film buffs. The scenes involving Prithviraj will be remade at scenic locations near Hyderabad, director Radha Mohan told The Hindu.

Prithviraj will be replaced with a Telugu artist and talks with leading actors of Tollywood are on.

“We are trying to rope in Jagapathi Babu for that role. That would help the Telugu audience relate to the story better,” he said.

Some other scenes, including those involving Trisha and Prakashraj, are being shot now in Andhra Pradesh. Since much of the Tamil version’s popularity was driven by its dialogue, Radha Mohan is keen on getting the right person to pen the dialogue in Telugu.
