Coimbatore: Miscreants riding two-wheelers hurled stones at the SriLankan Airlines office on LIC Road in ATT Colony here, damaging glass panes on Friday night.

Following a complaint, the Race Course Police registered a case. On Saturday morning, Congress activists staged a blockade on Avanashi Road at Uppilipalayam condemning the pro-LTTE speeches by director Seeman and Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam (PDK) leader Kolathur Mani. They also objected to certain remarks made against former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

The activists demanded the arrest of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader Thol Thirumavalavan for his continuing support to the LTTE.
