‘Future of Power’ dialogues launched

CHENNAI: An evening of reflection and insight marked the launch of the ‘Future of Power’ dialogues in the State here on Sunday by the head of Brahma Kumaris Dadi Janki.

Speaking at the function in Raj Bhavan, Governor Surjit Singh Barnala said that spirituality was the core of the future of power.

He stressed the need for emulating the discipline of the Brahma Kumaris.

The ‘Future of Power’ dialogues is a series of exclusive conversations exploring the shift of power and their impact of leadership in this century. The conversations would cover 30 cities across the country.

Principal Secretary of Brahma Kumaris Brij Mohan pointed to the role played by misuse of economic power and greed in making market forces wreak havoc on society.

Dadi Janki said the value system of our country was crucial in its future of power.

Children do not even care for their elderly parents, she lamented. “We need to be one and have unity,” she said.
